Mother’s Day is celebrated on May 8 so we wanted to highlight a few legendary rock and pop ’80s moms that should be celebrated for their contributions to music and society. These rock and pop stars are setting the example for their kids that women can go out and become anything that they set their hearts on. We appreciate the list of musicians below for creating music that has helped carry us through our greatest and not so greatest times. ’80s moms were exploring new fashion trends, exploring new career paths, and taking the world by storm.     The lead singer of The Bangles has been married to filmmaker Jay Roach since 1993.  They have two sons.

    This singer and actress married actor Matt Lattanzi in 1984.  Their daughter, Chloe Rose, was born in 1986.
