We are officially half way though the 7 Annual Mike & Carla’s Project H2O. We have received some fabulous donations that we will be forever thankful for. Shout out to Port of Subs for their 50 cases donation, Johnny Walker RV for their 100 cases donation and to our listeners who were able to donate. Whether it was one case, four cases or 100 cases, we are making a different for our neighbors right here in our hometown of Southern Nevada.
Carla Rea and the KKLZ crew were out at the Port Of Subs on May 18, located inside The Henderson Shopping Village located at, 832 South Boulder Highway, Henderson NV 89015.
The weather was beautiful, not overly hot and not cloudy out. We are glad that the weather cleared up. This is our fourth Port of Subs water-drop off locations for Project H2O.
This has been a very successful latter half of our second week. We are very EXCITED for our Project H2O Water Drop-off Donation Party this Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Teaming up with Port of Subs and The Salvation Army of Southern Nevada has been nothing of exceptional. The water collected will go through The Salvation Army to those in need during these upcoming summer months. Water has never been more important especially in Nevada. Vegas locals understand the heat waves and how detrimental they can be. Dehydration is a serious issue and with your help we will be able to combat it.
