The Mike & Carla Morning Show started their Project: H2O seven years ago to help aid Southern Nevada during the hot summer months.
Each and every year the drive becomes bigger and better with the goal to help our neighbors in need. Any temperature in the triple digits can be life threatening and water intake couldn’t be more vital.
We have teamed up with the Salvation Army who helps distribute the water donations to a various of local charities. We have conquered a lot as a community and the fight against dehydration is a serious matter.
Mike O’Brian from The Mike & Carla Morning Show, set up shop at the local sandwich leader, Port of Subs, located at 7120 North Durango Rd. #160, Las Vegas NV 89149, for water donations.
Though is was partly cloudy and a prime 80 degrees, we received a couple cases of water. Thank you to those that stopped by to help get the 7th Annual water drive going. We couldn’t do this without you.
Mike was out there from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you couldn’t make it, don’t worry, we will have several other drop off locations to make it easier to collect water.
If you’re someone who would like to donate and cannot make it out to any of the drop off locations, the Salvation Army is accepting online donations. Online donations may be made below.
