Mike & Carla host the We Do Redo Vow Renewal at the Legacy Club inside the Circa Resort & Casino. A beautiful night of love, laughs and dancing doesn’t do it justice.
We held a contest for the first 48 couples to enter for a chance to celebrate their love again but this time 60 floors up in Downtown Las Vegas. We were overwhelmed with entries of lovely couples, their stories and photos of them from their early stages of dating.
If Vegas and KKLZ know how to do anything right… its play great music and know how to throw a party. The Legacy Club had floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the Las Vegas Strip and most of the valley. Talk about perfect photo moments!
Carla Rea officiated the vows to each couple as they gathered in the main room. Each couple was given a certification of marriage to make it official.
Thank you to Nothing Bundt Cakes for supplying our couples with scrumptious “Buntinis” that were easy to hold and eat. The confetti ones were a BIG hit!
Our hardworking promotions department gathered extraordinary prizes like a two-night stay at Circa Las Vegas, a signed “Junefest” guitar, Pat Benatar tickets and more that we raffled off throughout the night.
We contacted a favor from our sister station’s morning show host, DJ Thump to provide the soundtrack to our night. And the “Wedding March” by Felix Mendelssohn was just the start to our musical journey.
It wouldn’t be a true KKLZ party without a conga line. Carla Rea started the shimmy walk as one-by-one each couple followed along trailing through the inside and outside of the club.
Our listeners loved our photo booth that captured moments with ease by the press of a screen. We cannot wait to have another party with you, our listeners!
