Gwen Stefani attends The 2022 Met Gala wearing a neon yellow leather crop top and matching gloves. She's smiling and waving at the crowd.

When I first watched Death Becomes Her, I thought that story about buying eternal youth was just a farce. But there are some people in the world that really make me wonder if the fountain of youth really does exist. Because whether they’re 15 or 50, with kids or without, they just don’t ever seem to age. Gwen Stefani is one of those people.

When I say these photos make us love to hate her, it’s completely in jest. The woman is so sweet that it’s hard to think anyone could ever hate her. I just mean it’s hard not to feel envious of Stefani’s eternally youthful looks. Stefani has been in the public eye for over 30 years. And she doesn’t look a whole lot older than she did when she released her first album with No Doubt in 1992.

Of course, it isn’t just good fortune. Gwen Stefani works hard to keep her youthful appearance.

If you’re wondering what Stefani’s secret is, it’s just what we have always been told. A good diet and frequent exercise. Stefani told Style that she works out, but doesn’t do anything crazy. Mostly just lunges and squats. And she eats pretty clean as well. Her diet consists mostly of vegan food. Which makes sense. You wouldn’t have to work out all that much if you’re being that careful about what is going in to your body.

Stefani is also an advocate for protecting your skin if you’re in the sun. And as a girl from California, she had plenty of that. But she took precautions to make sure her skin didn’t see damage from it. So, as annoying as it might be, there’s no magic pill for this gal to look so amazing. It’s just maintaining a healthy lifestyle and being good to her body.

But, looking at these photos, it’s hard to argue that there’s not at least a little bit of good fortune (or good genes) in the equation for Gwen Stefani. Either that or she just really knows how to work a camera.
