Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco is a frequent performer on the Las Vegas Strip, with more shows coming up in The Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.  With all the problems going on nowadays, it’s nice to know we can always count on escaping those problems for a little while when we catch a funny performance from a comedian like Sebastian Maniscalco.  There will be plenty of chances to win free tickets to one of his shows when you tune in to 96.3 KKLZ.  Catch details here:  https://963kklz.com/contests/win-tickets-to-sebastian-maniscalco-with-larry-martino/

According to Wikipedia, Maniscalco was born in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, Illinois, to parents of Italian descent.  In fact, his father Salvatore immigrated with his family to the U.S. from Sicily at the age of 15.  After graduating with a degree in communications studies from Northern Illinois University, Maniscalco moved to Los Angeles in 1998.  He paid his dues by hitting “Open Mic Night” at various bars and bowling alleys in Southern California while working as a waiter at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.  In 2005 he began performing at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood.

As his comedy career began to take off, he was a featured performer on Vince Vaughn’s “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights,” “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson,” “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” “The Jay Leno Show,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “Conan,” and “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

In 2018, Maniscalco made his feature film debut in Green Book as Johnny Venere.  That movie would win an Academy Award.  Next up, he hosted the 2019 “MTV Video Music Awards.”  Then he appeared in Martin Scorcese’s film The Irishman playing “Crazy” Joe Gallo alongside superstars Robert De Niro, Joe Pesce, and Al Pacino.

He and his wife Lana have been married since August 2013, and they have two children; a daughter named Serafina and a son named Caruso. Click here for the link to his website.

After watching another depressing newscast, I decided to “dare” Mr. Maniscalco to make me laugh, and he did!  Here are five of his funny bits from his recorded performances.  (Not for young viewers as there is some foul language.)
