Planning A Vacation? Here’s Nevada’s Favorite Getaway Destination
Many Americans love to visit Las Vegas. Moreover, people from all over the world come here to celebrate, party, and enjoy life. But where do Las Vegans love to go to get away from it all? A new survey of Google Trends data pinpoints Nevada’s favorite vacation destination.
New Survey Pinpoints Nevada’s Favorite Vacation Destination
When Las Vegans start searching for a place to get away from it all, the search seems to start in the Caribbean. There are so many island getaways and vacation destinations in this tropical paradise.
I guess that makes complete sense. Here we are in the middle of the desert. It’s very dry. Except for Lake Mead, we’re pretty much land locked. So, heading to an island paradise seems like the opposite of where we live. Gentle ocean waves. Tropical cocktails. And plenty of humidity.
Nevada certainly isn’t the only state in America which chooses the Caribbean as its favorite vacation destination. Six other states share the same desire, including Louisiana, North Carolina, Nebraska, Oregon, Tennessee, and Utah.
America’s Top Vacation Destinations
With that in mind, the survey conducted by Places To Travel lists the vacation destinations chosen by the most states in the nation. You may be surprised to learn that 10 out of the 50 United States choose Italy as their dream vacation.
Folks in New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Virginia, Arizona, Connecticut, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, and Hawaii choose this Mediterranean vacation destination.
Speaking of Hawaii, that U.S. tropical paradise ranks second in this survey. Nine different states choose the 50th state in the union as their favorite vacation destination.
Here’s How Las Vegas Ranks In This Survey
As I already mentioned, Las Vegas is one of the world’s favorite place to get away. But, how about for people who live in the United States? The Places To Travel survey shows four states that would choose a Sin City getaway.
Those states include Iowa, Missouri, Montana, and West Virginia. You’re all welcome to visit Las Vegas anytime!
