Around The World Wine Walk At Downtown Container Park
A fun event for Las Vegas wine-lovers is coming up on Saturday night. It’s the Around The World Wine Walk at Downtown Container Park. That is located at 707 E Fremont St in Las Vegas in the downtown Fremont area. If you’ve never been to Container Park before, it’s super cool. It’s a box-shaped strip mall that is built completely out of shipping containers.
There’s shopping, a salon, a toy store, and food places. And they’re all surrounding a middle area that has a stage for live entertainment, a playground area for the kids (with giant legos!) and tables to eat outside. It really is a great venue to host anything that involves walking around. Because the walkway is enclosed within the shipping containers, it’s very cozy!
This Saturday night, Downtown Container Park is hosting their Wine & Beer series and inviting Las Vegas to come. From 5 to 8pm, ticket-holders will be able to enjoy wines from different parts of the world. There will be an eclectic mix of varietals from different regions including Spain, Italy and South Africa.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy live music on The Lawn with Roxy Gunn and then make their way around Downtown Container Park‘s tenants to sample unlimited tastings of red, white, Rosé and sparkling wine options. Francis Coppola Winery is sponsoring the event. They will feature pours of their Prosecco and Rosé from its Diamond Collection.
So after you leave Paws In The Park on Saturday, head on up to Container Park and get your drink on! While you’re there, make sure you take a picture with the giant fire-spitting grasshopper out front and bring a lock for the Love Lock sculpture. Have fun but remember to drink responsibly and drive safely.

5 Things Dog Owners Shouldn't Miss At Paws In The Park
Paws In the Park is coming up on Saturday and our house is all kinds of excited! Most of you have met (or cyber-met) my cutie patootie pooch Apple. Hands down the most personality I’ve ever seen in a dog. And that’s saying a lot considering I once rescued a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix! He was next-level crazy. Apple is ready to strut her stuff at Desert Breeze Park this weekend. Look how excited she is!
Even though she can be a little standoffish and socially awkward at first, Apple is thrilled to be able to mingle with other doggies and make new friends at Paws In The Park. She even got her nails done for the occasion!
First things first…it’s going to be chilly in Las Vegas on Saturday. In the 50’s. I know…our city finally got the memo that winter is indeed coming. But it’s going to be beautiful with the sunshine out, so bring layers for you and your pup (if they’re the “dress up” type). And don’t forget, ALL pets are welcome. Cats, hamsters, lizards. I say if you love it, bring it! Apple says she’ll try real hard not to harass your cat if you bring one.
Apple is still kind of shy, so if you see her at Paws In The Park this weekend, let her approach you. It has to be her idea to make friends. I know…control freak, right? I have no idea where she gets that from… 😉
We are both looking forward to a lot of things at Paws In The Park. Apple keeps pestering me to make sure we don’t miss some things she’s really looking forward to. And if you’re planning to bring your dog, we think you should make sure you do these things too!
