Tune in to 96.3 KKLZ every Sunday morning, 7am-10am, and enjoy another original American Top 40 Countdown from the 70s!

Sunday 05/08/22:  Casey Kasem counts down the biggest hits in the U.S.A. on May 11, 1974, when the mystery thriller The Conversation was new in theaters.

Although this Francis Ford Coppola film was a box office disappointment, it won the "Palm d'Or," the highest prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1974.  It would also go on to earn three Academy Award nominations and has been selected to be preserved in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.  Here's the original theatrical trailer.
