“Blazing Saddles” was directed by Mel Brooks, and written by Brooks, Richard Pryor, Andrew Bergman, Norman Steinberg, and Alan Uger. It starred Cleavon Little and Gene Wilder. It co-starred Alex Karras, Slim Pickens, David Huddleston, Dom DeLuise, Madeline Kahn, and Harvey Korman. It’s ranked at #6 on the American Film Institute’s 100 Years…100 Laughs. In 2006, the film was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry.
