Worker at Allegiant Stadium Tests Positive for COVID-19
A worker at Allegiant Stadium has tested positive for COVID-19. The worker has been off-site since last week, according to Mortensen-McCarthy, the joint venture leading the stadium project. They say all workers on site are adhering to the CDC guidelines for coronavirus – so the affected person was not in close contact with any other workers. The worker who tested positive is self-isolating for 14 days and will not return to work until cleared to do so.
“Mortenson-McCarthy previously implemented stringent cleaning protocols on the project consistent with CDC guidelines,” the statement said. “In accordance with those protocols, the area where the worker had been assigned, and the surrounding vicinity, was immediately shut down and sanitized.”
