“When We Were Young” is set to happen later this month at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. But people are already looking to next year! Turns out there’s another edition planned for next October and the lineup is incredible, headlined by Green Day and the newly reunited Blink-182!

The lineup, set for Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023 (and likely an additional day or two around it) is the class of 2002’s dream. Like a Warped Tour for big kids. The lineup is an absolute blast back to CD folders in your first car, teenage acne and your high school crush.

Something Corporate? The band hasn’t played together since 2010! They’ll be back for the show. Sum 41?! The Ataris?! Good Charlotte? The Offspring?! The entire lineup is below but our jaws are on the floor.

This year’s When We Were Young, set for later this month, is a banger in its own right, selling out three shows. My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Avril Lavigne, Dashboard Confessional, The Used… the lineup is amazing. But this year’s show strikes a different tone than the concert planned for next year. More of an emo vibe.

Next year? Wow. Having seen Green Day and Blink-182 at a Warped Tour many (MANY) years ago, and seen New Found Glory just this year at Brooklyn Bowl, you can guarantee the “40 or so” crowd is going to be all over this concert.

• Green Day

  Founded in 1986, Green Day is one of the most successful punk rock bands of all time. The band rose to prominence with their 1994 album “Dookie,” which sold over 10 million copies in the United States. Since then, Green Day has released a string of hit singles, including “Basket Case,” “When I Come Around,” and “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).” In 2005, the band released “American Idiot,” an ambitious concept album that criticizes the Bush administration. American Idiot was a commercial and critical success, winning two Grammy Awards and going platinum in the United States.

• Blink-182

  Blink-182 has been together since 1992 – 30 years! The group rose to prominence with their 1997 album Enema of the State, which featured the hits “All the Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again?” Since then, Blink-182 has released six more studio albums, the most recent being 2016’s California. The band just reunited with Tom DeLonge joining drummer Travis Barker, and bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus. While Blink-182’s music has varied in style over the years, their biggest songs have all been catchy pop-punk anthems that have resonated with fans across the world. From “All the Small Things” to “I Miss You,” Blink-182 has cemented their place as one of the most successful bands of their generation.

• 30 Seconds To Mars

  30 Seconds to Mars is one of the most successful bands of the 21st century. The group’s debut album, “30 Seconds to Mars,” was a commercial and critical success, reaching the top ten of the Billboard 200 and selling over four million copies worldwide. The band has sold over fifteen million albums worldwide and has won numerous awards, including two MTV Video Music Awards and two Grammy Award nominations.

• The Offspring

  The Offspring is a punk rock band from Southern California that has been making music since the early 1990s. The band’s sound is fast and aggressive, with catchy hooks and sing-along choruses. The Offspring’s biggest hits include “Self Esteem,” “Come Out and Play,” and “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy).” The band has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, making them one of the most successful punk rock bands of all time. The Offspring is known for their rowdy live shows, and they continue to tour regularly. The band’s latest album dropped just last year.

• Good Charlotte

  Good Charlotte burst onto the music scene in the early 2000s with their debut album, “Good Morning Revival.” The album spawned the hit singles “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” and “The Anthem,” both of which topped the charts and helped to propel the band to superstardom. Since then, Good Charlotte has released five more studio albums, all of which have been met with critical and commercial success. The band’s biggest hits include “Girls & Boys,” “I Just Wanna Live,” and “Predictable.” Good Charlotte has also toured extensively throughout their career, performing to sold-out crowds all over the world. With their catchy hooks and infectious energy, Good Charlotte has cemented their place as one of the most popular bands of the past 20 years.

• All Time Low

  All Time Low is a band that knows how to party, and their music reflects that. Formed in 2003 by high school friends Alex Gaskarth and Jack Barakat, the group quickly began making a name for themselves on the local music scene. Their first big break came in 2006 when they signed with Hopeless Records and released their major label debut, “The Party Scene.” The album helped to solidify their reputation as a party band, and it included the hit single “Dear Maria, Count Me In.” Since then, All Time Low has released six more studio albums, including the platinum-selling “Nothing Personal” in 2009. They continue to be one of the most popular bands in the world, and their live shows are known for their high energy and chaotic fun.

• Something Corporate

  Something Corporate was formed in 1998 in Orange County, California by high school friends Andrew McMahon, Josh Partington, and Reuben Hajjar. The group’s first big break came when they were signed by MCA Records in 2000. Their debut album, “Audioboxer” was released that same year to critical acclaim. But it was their second album, “North”, that really thrust them into the spotlight. The album spawned the hit single “Punk Rock Princess”, which quickly became a radio staple.

  Something Corporate went on to release two more albums – “Feel This” in 2003 and “Saving Abraham” in 2005 – before going on hiatus in 2006. In the years since, Andrew McMahon has launched a successful solo career under the moniker Jack’s Mannequin, while Josh Partington and Reuben Hajjar have started a new band called The Planeteers. But now it looks like they are BACK!

• Sum 41

  Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario. The band was formed in 1996 by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Deryck Whibley, lead guitarist Dave Baksh, bassist Mark Spicoluk, and drummer Steve Jocz. The band released their debut album, All Killer No Filler, in 2001. The album was a commercial success, reaching number one on the Canadian Albums Chart and number two on the US Billboard 200. It went on to sell over four million copies worldwide. The band’s follow-up album, “Does This Look Infected?” was released in 2002 and was also a commercial success, reaching number two on the Canadian Albums Chart and number 13 on the US Billboard 200.

• Simple Plan

  Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band that formed in 1999. The band members are Pierre Bouvier, Chuck Comeau, Jeff Stinco, David Desrosiers, and Sebastien Lefebvre. The band has released five studio albums: “No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls” (2002), “Still Not Getting Any…” (2004), “Simple Plan” (2008), “Get Your Heart On!” (2011), and “Taking One for the Team” (2016). Simple Plan’s most popular songs include “I’m Just a Kid”, “Addicted”, and “Welcome to My Life”. The band is known for their energy and catchy hooks, and they have enjoyed success both in Canada and internationally. Whether you’re a fan of the band or not, there’s no denying that Simple Plan is one of the most successful pop-punk bands of all time.

• New Found Glory

  They were just here at Brooklyn Bowl a few months ago, and the love in that room was massive. Great vibes from NFG and hit after hit from the albums you listened to front to back.

• Yellowcard

  Yellowcard was one of the most popular bands of the early 2000s, thanks to their catchy pop-punk tunes and energetic live performances. The band was formed in 1997 in Jacksonville, Florida, and released their first album in 1999. Their breakthrough album came in 2003 with Ocean Avenue, which featured the hit single “Way Away.” The album went platinum in the United States and established Yellowcard as a force to be reckoned with. They followed up with another successful album, Lights and Sounds, in 2006. Yellowcard’s biggest hits – like “Ocean Avenue” and “Only One” – continue to resonate with fans all over the world.

• Bowling For Soup

  Bowling For Soup is a band that knows how to have a good time. Formed in 1994 in Wichita Falls, Texas, the band has been making music for over two decades. In that time, they’ve released thirteen studio albums, including such hits as “Girl All the Bad Guys Want” and “1985.” They’ve also toured extensively, playing shows all over the world. But what really sets Bowling For Soup apart is their sense of humor. Their songs are full of wit and sarcasm, and they’re not afraid to poke fun at themselves. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just getting started, there’s something for everyone in Bowling For Soup’s music.

• Finch

  WOW, FINCH. “What It Is To Burn” is a screamo-freakin’-delight and to be able to be in the pit and yell “SHE BURNNNNNS” with thousands of others will be outrageous.

• The Ataris

  The Ataris were formed in 1996 in Anderson, Indiana, and soon became one of the most popular pop-punk bands of the early 2000s. The band’s debut album, “Anywhere but Here,” was a huge success, and their single “Boys of Summer” quickly became a radio staple. The Ataris’ follow-up album, “So Long, Astoria,” was even more successful, spawning the hits “The saddest Song” and “In This Diary.” After a brief hiatus, the band returned with their 2007 album “Welcome the Night,” which featured the hit single “Not Capable of Love.”

• Fenix TX

  This is a band that you need to see live. Remember the MTV movie “Jailbait”? This was from that flick. So good. Memories. SO MANY MEMORIES.
