With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it's now wonder that as we talk more and more about the dinner itself, more and more people admit they love the side dishes more so than the main entree! If you're not surprised, listen to the segment this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show talking how most people wouldn't mind skipping the turkey all together!

Although one supermarket chain is reducing prices back to 2019, it's no secret that with inflation, your Thanksgiving turkey dinner is going to cost a little bit more that in years pasts. Maybe that's why most people are just opting for the side dishes this year, which to most, seems to be enough!

Campbell's in fact started selling a "special plate" for Thanksgiving sides this week and just like that, they were sold out! On the flipside, if you missed out, no worries, it's actually just a paper plate with dividers for five sides. We're thinking you can come up with something just as creative.

Even going one step further, Campbell's decide that the $15 cost of the plate would all go to Feeding America! So see, there is a little bit of "corporate" love around the holidays! Campbell's also did a survey finding out that two thirds of those they talked to enjoyed the side dishes more so than the turkey!

And about half said they could actually enjoy Thanksgiving without a turkey at all and would just be fine with a few delicious side dishes!

So what are those side dishes we love the most...scroll down to see the Top 5 and listen to the segment from this morning talking "turkey" and a few other topics in "A Few Things We Think You Should Know" and enjoy!

Thanksgiving Mac-n-Cheese is the new trend on more and more tables during the holidays. Add some bacon, even lobster bits to spice it up and you can see why most people might skip the turkey! We believe this is why it's at #5 on the list!
