Plain and simple, when it comes to the “Hardest Working Cities”, where does Las Vegas rank in the country…compared to other cities? Just like you, The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to find out as well…where Las Vegas ranks!
According to our friends at WalletHub, they ranked over 100 major cities in the country. They used 11 different categories and gave out points. From the employment rate of individual city to the hours worked in a week.
Where Does Las Vegas Rank As A Hard Working City
With all that said, eight cities in the state of Texas showed up in the Top 20. Arlington, Plano, even Fort Worth, Texas showed up as hard working people. But not hard enough to crack the Top 10!
Sorry California, but clearly you have more things to do than work! San Francisco showed up as a “hard working city”. However, this bay area metro area was the only California city to make the Top 10. C’mon Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento…pick up the slack!
But really, lets get down to the bottom of the list. When it comes to the “Hardest Working Cities” in America…here ya go, the Bottom five:
#112 Toledo, Ohio
#113 Newark, New Jersey
#114 Buffalo, New York
#115 Detroit Michigan
#116 Burlington, Vermont
So, there ya go…at least you know that Las Vegas is not last! Moving on, we should tell you that when it came right down to it, four cities in Nevada made the list. None of them were even in the Top 25. That’s the bad news…the good news, were not the worst!
#79 Reno
#83 Henderson
#86 North Las Vegas
#88 Las Vegas
Again, not the worst, but we think our cities can do a little bit better right? On the other hand, what were the Top 5 “Hardest Working Cities” in the country? You might be a little surprised at what cities made it or maybe not…depending on where you’re from.
