96.3 KKLZ teamed up with Miller Tavern at Palm Valley Golf Course, located at 9201 Del Webb Blvd. This is the quiet and elegant Sun City, Summerlin.
Many locals came out to witness classic cars, beautiful weather and views of the city unlike any other. Carla says it’s “just beautiful.”
Carla Rea, a Miller Tavern Partner, from the Mike & Carla Morning Show was broadcasting LIVE with street teamer Megan, from 12p.m. to 2p.m. This was the first annual hot rod show that the gold course has hosted.
The hot rod portion of the event took place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and featured iconic vehicles such as a Dodge Viper SRC 10, vintage Beetle, 71 Chevy El Camino, model kit cars and many more. The golf course is looking to expand their events with more care features in the future. Carla was eye balling the purple hot rod.
Many P1s were roaming the golf course parking lot including Sherri. Hey Sherri, thank you for coming out! We appreciate you. We also got to see many cute dogs as it was an inclusive pet-friendly event.
Carla ordered and paid for the golf courses’ chicken wings, as they are a full service restaurant, and they were very scruptious. As Carla was in partnership with the golf course to come out to the event she said that their chicken wings were the “best tasting chicken wings.”
