Paws In The Park
Paws In The Park 2024: Another Barktastic Year Of Furry Friends [GALLERY]
Paws in the Park was an amazing day of animal welfare, loving your furry friends and celebrating animals of all kinds. Hundreds of dogs were adopted during our Paws in the Park event, and we want to thank all of the nonprofits involved with this year's event. The event took place on Saturday at Desert Breeze Park. Thank you to our title sponsor Southern Nevada Chevy Dealers in sub-port with Port of Subs for making this event free and fun for all. Paws in the Park Had The Cutest Contests + Doxie Races Paws in the Park had a stream of vendors, artisanal craft makers and amazing artists from our local community. Along with these stellar vendors, we also had amazing pet contests that brought the cutest and fluffiest pets from all over the valley. The first pet contest was the "Owner Look-a-Like Contest." The winner of that contest was a Cane Corso, Milo, who looked very similar to his owner. The Cane Corso was black with a streak of white across his belly. The owner was also donning a black outfit with a perfectly black beard that made him resemble his dog in an uncanny manner. The next contest was the Cutest Pet Contest. It wasn't easy to choose a winner because all of the entrants were so fluffy and adorable. However, the winner of this contest was a teacup pomeranian named Snowball. Snowball was a tiny and fluffy pom that was pure white. He was so tiny yet mighty. The next contest was "most unique pet." A giant rust-colored Pitbull took the gold in this competition. And the last contest to end the day was "best dressed" pet. The winner of this contest was actually a pair of dogs! The winners were a King Charles Spaniel, who was dressed as the Mad Hatter, and a Yorkie, who was dressed as the Queen of Hearts. It was a lovely day of loving our animals in Las Vegas. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this year's Paws in the Park an unforgettable memory. Thank you again to Southern Nevada Chevy Dealers in sub-port with Port of Subs for another stellar year. Scroll down below to see photos from this year's Paws in the Park!
