Las Vegas isn’t the only place with luxury casino resorts. Although, living in Las Vegas, you don't really think about other places having luxury resort hotel-casinos. But they do.

Las Vegas Resorts In Top 10 Luxury Resorts

Turns out, there are some pretty amazing casino resorts in cities across the US. And with literally dozens of casino resorts, Las Vegas is bound to make the hot list, right? Well, you are correct. But what venues? And where do they fall in the top 10?

USA Today’s 10 Best asked readers to choose the nation’s top casino hotels. This means top of the line gaming, and amenities. The top 10 are spread across the country. Two hot spots in Las Vegas - and three in Atlantic City, New Jersey. What? Jersey? I kid. But really - Atlantic City, New Jersey? Again, I KID!

Number One Luxury Resort Might Surprise You

What? How can the top two resort hotel casinos not be in Las Vegas? Well - because they just aren't. The number one luxury casino hotel is in Connecticut, Yep, the Constitution State. The Nutmeg State. *googles state nicknames*

Number One: Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut is beautiful. It has two towers with more than 1,500 guest rooms and suites, Their rooms are complete with the latest technology, like lightning-fast Wi-Fi and smart thermostats. Other cool amenities include fitness centers, pools, and the beautiful Mandara Spa - with 19,000 square feet of space, and 14 treatment rooms. "Ahhhh... more cucumber water, please."

Number Two: An hour east of Los Angeles, is Yaamava’ Resort Casino (sister property to The Palms in Las Vegas). Yaamava' took the Number two spot. With 20 restaurants and bars, an incredible pool deck, and quite a diverse lineup of entertainment, Like Bret Michaels, Ice Cube, The Cult, Tesla, or Mariah Carey, They're all coming up at the Yaamava' Theater.

Top Las Vegas Resorts Feature An Icon And A Contemporary

Coming in at number three - Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. It's been in Las Vegas for decades, and has grown a lot over the years. Movies like Rain Man, and The Hangover, have only made Caesars more popular.

The iconic Caesars Palace is one of the largest hotels in Vegas, Five towers of rooms, including high-end suites and villas, seven pools, and spa with Roman inspired baths. When it comes to gaming, Caesars gaming floorspace is massive. And restaurants that are run by, and feature renowned names like Gordon Ramsay, Nobu Matsuhisa, and Bobby Flay, among others.

Rounding out the top 10 list of luxury resorts - ARIA Resort & Casino. Personally, I think ARIA Resort & Casino should be higher on the list. It is strikingly contemporary, with artwork prominently featured throughout the property

ARIA rooms have floor to ceiling windows, and high-tech amenities. The restaurants are world class, and some of the best restaurants on The Las Vegas Strip. And service is five-star everywhere on the resort, from the gaming floor to the ultra contemporary spa and salon. ARIA Resort & Casino is a must visit if you are in Las Vegas.

Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency Coming To Resorts World

Janet Jackson fans, get ready. Janet is gearing up for a new Las Vegas show.

Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency At Resorts World

All reports point to a December opening for a new Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency. She is in the final stages of signing a residency deal at Resorts World, possibly ringing in the new year with a NYE performance. Knowing Las Vegas, and living here as long as I have, I'd say chances are pretty good.

It doesn't sound like it is going to be a long residency, but none of them really are anymore. Gone are the days of the years long Celine Dion, and Elton John residencies.

Some outlets are saying that Janet was recently offered a residency in London, but she turned it down because the Vegas deal was far more lucrative.

Resorts World Keeps Has Been Home To Some Big Residencies

So as of now, Janet Jackson and Celine Dion will both be doing residencies at Resorts World. Celine hopefully kicking off her show in late 2024, or early 2025. She has been battling Stiff Person Syndrome for several years now, but she made an epic appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

Katy Perry wrapped up her Resorts World residency in November of last year (2023), and Carrie Underwood will be ending hers after her last 6 shows in 2025. She will be taking Katy Perry's place as a judge on American Idol

This isn't the first Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency. She did her "Metamorphosis" Las Vegas residency in 2019 at Park MGM. And it looks like she's going to take "Control" of Vegas one more time. We can't wait for her return!

By the way - no need to worry, Europe, because Janet Jackson is headed your way:

Here are some Janet Jackson's chart toppers, according to Billboard, that you might not have heard quite as much, and some that you did. I was a fan - I know them all.

1. Come Back To Me

From the Rhythm Nation album, Come Back To Me peaked at number 2 in 1990. Beautiful chord progressions that just aren't done anymore. It gives you actual feelings.

2. What's It Gonna Be - Busta Rhymes Featuring Janet Jackson

At one time Janet Jackson said that she'd love to work with Busta Rhymes. He reached out immediately, and - BOOM! The song peaked at number 3 in 1999.

3. You Want This

You felt like you were Janet's friends when you watched this video. Such a fun 90's video and song. Before Beyonce, Rihanna, Gaga - there was Janet!

4. Black Cat

Black Cat hit number one for one week in 1990. Cant believe it was only one week, but so be it. Janet Jackson had sole writing credit on this song. And it truly was a rocker!

That's The Way Love Goes

One of the sexiest songs of all time. That's The Way Love Goes was number one for 8 weeks in 1993. With good reason, that's for sure.

All For you

Yet another really fun JJ video. All For You spent seven weeks at number one in 2001. This whole video just worked. And the simple jeans and halters - which I wish I could've worn - were the best!

Miss You Much

One of Janet Jackson's black and white videos. It highlights her dancing, her choreography, and yes - the fun, that so many of her videos were!
