A 47-year-old Las Vegas clerk at a local convenience store was arrested, for allegedly beating a man with a baseball bat. Why? The clerk says the man took too much nacho cheese for his nachos. The victim is in pretty rough shape, and his injuries are quite severe.

Las Vegas Man Beaten By Convenience Store Clerk

We live in a crazy world these days. We hear about people being assaulted over the craziest things - on both sides of the counter. There is a lot of anger out there, and it's really disturbing. Like in this case right here in Las Vegas..

Myron Bullie, a 47-year-old gas station convenience store clerk in Las Vegas, was arrested for allegedly beating a man, with a baseball bat, for taking what he thought was too much nacho cheese sauce.

The person who called 911 told police that he saw the victim on the ground while he was pumping gas, and asked Bullie to call 911.  But he responded, "I'm not going to call 911, he better have learned a lesson."

Bullie told the police that the victim, "took too much cheese from the nacho cheese machine, so he told him to leave."  The victim left but returned a few minutes later.  He insisted on getting his nachos. That is when Bullie pushed him out and hit him with a baseball bat.

Unfortunately, the victim is in very bad shape. He has two brain bleeds, multiple skull fractures and multiple facial bone fractures. His injuries are considered life-threatening, at this point..

Bullie was charged with suspicion of attempted murder, and battery with a deadly weapon. He is being held at Clark County Detention Center on $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 23.

We live in some really weird times, but people - take a breath!

Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency Coming To Resorts World

Janet Jackson fans, get ready. Janet is gearing up for a new Las Vegas show.

Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency At Resorts World

All reports point to a December opening for a new Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency. She is in the final stages of signing a residency deal at Resorts World, possibly ringing in the new year with a NYE performance. Knowing Las Vegas, and living here as long as I have, I'd say chances are pretty good.

It doesn't sound like it is going to be a long residency, but none of them really are anymore. Gone are the days of the years long Celine Dion, and Elton John residencies.

Some outlets are saying that Janet was recently offered a residency in London, but she turned it down because the Vegas deal was far more lucrative.

Resorts World Keeps Has Been Home To Some Big Residencies

So as of now, Janet Jackson and Celine Dion will both be doing residencies at Resorts World. Celine hopefully kicking off her show in late 2024, or early 2025. She has been battling Stiff Person Syndrome for several years now, but she made an epic appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

Katy Perry wrapped up her Resorts World residency in November of last year (2023), and Carrie Underwood will be ending hers after her last 6 shows in 2025. She will be taking Katy Perry's place as a judge on American Idol

This isn't the first Janet Jackson Las Vegas Residency. She did her "Metamorphosis" Las Vegas residency in 2019 at Park MGM. And it looks like she's going to take "Control" of Vegas one more time. We can't wait for her return!

Here are some Janet Jackson's chart toppers, according to Billboard, that you might not have heard quite as much, and some that you did. I was a fan - I know them all.

1. Come Back To Me

From the Rhythm Nation album, Come Back To Me peaked at number 2 in 1990. Beautiful chord progressions that just aren't done anymore. It gives you actual feelings.

2. What's It Gonna Be - Busta Rhymes Featuring Janet Jackson

At one time Janet Jackson said that she'd love to work with Busta Rhymes. He reached out immediately, and - BOOM! The song peaked at number 3 in 1999.

3. You Want This

You felt like you were Janet's friends when you watched this video. Such a fun 90's video and song. Before Beyonce, Rihanna, Gaga - there was Janet!

4. Black Cat

Black Cat hit number one for one week in 1990. Cant believe it was only one week, but so be it. Janet Jackson had sole writing credit on this song. And it truly was a rocker!

That's The Way Love Goes

One of the sexiest songs of all time. That's The Way Love Goes was number one for 8 weeks in 1993. With good reason, that's for sure.

All For you

Yet another really fun JJ video. All For You spent seven weeks at number one in 2001. This whole video just worked. And the simple jeans and halters - which I wish I could've worn - were the best!

Miss You Much

One of Janet Jackson's black and white videos. It highlights her dancing, her choreography, and yes - the fun, that so many of her videos were!
