California Woman Calls 911 About “Flying Cheese” On The Road

A California woman was driving down the road when she was suddenly hit by a slice of cheese.

The woman called in the incident around 10:10 am according to the SacBee. The dispatchers alerted all officers to be alert and on the lookout for "flying cheese." The woman said it hit her windshield and that it was thrown by a black sedan that was passing by, this past Monday.

An officer responded to the dispatchers call and asked what kind of cheese was thrown? "We're going to go with American cheddar"

Cheese tossing has been a viral challenge online. First by throwing a single slice of cheese on a babies face or forehead. This has been going on since 2o21. Now it seems to have shifted to cars. All of this happened in the area of Woodcreek Oaks Boulevard and Baseline roads in California.

If you're looking to hear the dispatcher making the call, it was was uploaded online. The clip came from Broadcastify.com. You hear, "One reporting party advised about five minutes ago... piece of cheese hit her window from a passing black sedan, unknown plates."

Although it's funny to hear about, it can be dangerous. Throwing cheese at an infant is definitely funny. The reactions make it funny. But throwing it at a moving car, yes it's kind of funny, but is also very dangerous. Maybe stay away from throwing cheese in general. Plus wasting a good slice of cheese is not cool in my book. Maybe throw a slice of cheese, but on your next sandwich you make?

As for the black sedan who threw it at the woman's car, they have not been caught and honestly, we don't think police will do much about it, unless they saw it happen in person.
