When you walk into some ones home, do you take off your shoes? How about when someone comes over to your place? Do you ask them to remove their shoes before coming in?
Apparently there’s two types of homes. One where you’re allowed to wear shoes in the home and one where you’re not. Because of this, a poll was created to find out how many Americans actually take their shoes off inside.
The poll results show that sixty-three percent of Americans actually remove their shoes inside. Thirty-seven percent said they DO wear shoes inside. The interesting part is that seventy-six percent of the people polled said they will not ask their guests to remove their shoes, which includes that sixty-seven percent that doesn’t war their shoes inside themselves.
About ninety percent of people in the poll said that it’s a “reasonable request” to ask people to remove their shoes since it’s your home they’re in. Obviously the other ten percent thinks it’s unreasonable.
If you wanna get deeper into it, forty-four percent of the people polled were Gen Z’ers and they say they’ll ask guests to remove their shoes where as thirty-five percent of millennials agree, as do thirteen percent of Gen X and seven percent of Boomers!

96.3 KKLZ IS GIVING AWAY DISNEYLAND TICKETS!!!
No, it’s not the first time we’ve done this. And it won’t be the last. But this time is special because Disneyland is celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary this year. And they’ve got quite the party planned! They’re introducing special new features. They’ve added new rides. And they’re bringing back some old time favorites.
It’s hard to believe Walt DisneyStudios has been around for a full century. But it’s true. While Disneyland itself didn’t come around until 1955, Walt Disney Studios has been bringing us magic since October 16, 1923, when they signed the contract for their first cartoon series. Of course, back then it was known as Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio (waltdisneycompany.com).
You may have noticed I just said Disney “Brothers”. Not a typo. The company was co-owned by Walt Disney and his brother, Roy. Their first ever project was a series of cartoons based on Alice from Alice in Wonderland. A simple single project from an unknown man in Kansas City. That blew up into the biggest entertainment empire in world history. The Disney company owns theme parks all over the planet. Cruise lines and retail stores. Hulu, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Searchlight, ABC, Freeform, FX…the list just keeps going on and on.
It’s safe to say that in their first 100 years, The Walt Disney Company has pretty much taken over the globe. And they’re not holding back when it comes to celebrating their century of success. For their 100th anniversary, they are planning their biggest event to date. It’s definitely not something to miss. Here are a few things you can look forward to at the Disney100 celebration this year. WHEN you win tickets (just putting that out there into the universe for you). – Wendy
