Yes, you read that right. The Pandemic has made a dent in something parents probably don't want to hear, but will be happy to hear at the same time.

The CDC did a survey and found that the pandemic caused a huge decline in school students having sex! Leading up to the pandemic/COVID-19, the number of teens having sex started to decline. Once it fully hit, it declined more!

They found that thirty years ago, about fifty percent of teens said they've had sex. Within the past two years, it's declined to about thirty-eight-percent. In 2021, it dropped down to thirty-percent! That was the most significant drop in teens having sex since they started doing the survey!

The pandemic causing kids to be indoors and isolated helped lower teen sex and pregnancy. We're sure parents are glad to hear this just as much as health officials.

Now that the pandemic has taken a back seat and the world his back to normal, will the 2023 survey conducted by the CDC show results of it going back up?

Now the study ranked the "best cities to eat local food" and to do so, considered a bunch of factors into their ranking. They factored thinks like community-supported agriculture, farm stands and markets, bakeries, butcher shops seafood markets and more! They even considered craft breweries and wineries.

So with all these things considered and before we get to the top five, I figured I would give you the worst city. That would be Anchorage, Alaska! We would never have thought Anchorage would rank so low with the fresh salmon, crab, lobster there! Of the two hundred cities considered, they were at the bottom with eight of the bottom eleven cities all coming from Texas, which again is shocker.

Below are the top five best cities to eat locally! We have more on this story and more in today's edition of "A Few Things You Should Know!"
