Children tend to be drama, but you need to hear why this little girl is so upset! The Mike & Carla Morning Show found it very cute, but as Carla Rea mentioned, it something that a lot of other little girls might have concerns about as well.
The thing that makes this audio really so adorable is the passion at which this young lady is pleading her case with her mother, yet realizing it's not going to happen overnight. Hey, we've all been there before...wanting to change, but not having the patience to wait for it. Little kids are the same way...we can all remember wishing we were a lot older than we were at the time. Wanting to drive before we were at that age to even get a drivers license.
Well, guess what? Somethings never change when it comes to kids...it's never easy, but as parents you try and do the best you can. We sure that mom did her best to console this little girl and explain that all good things come to those that wait.
The other little girl featured in the segment from this morning is learning early...it wasn't me! Doesn't matter what it was, what you can prove, or even what you think...it wasn't me! And the fact that mom was basically giving her little girl hi-fives for pulling it off is a little disturbing.
What happened to a "teachable" moment? You don't point the finger at someone else...take accountability for your own actions! Something tells us that her teacher bought her story and someone else got blamed for what she did.
