Man Finds $4.7 Million Dollar Check And Is Rewarded
A man in Germany was at a train statin in the city of Frankfurt when he saw a piece of paper blowing across the floor. He picked up the paper and realized it was a check made out to the amount of almost $4.7 Million Dollars! The check was made out to candy maker and more popularly known for their gummy bears, Haribo!
His name is Anouar. Anouar is 38-years-old and contacted the candy maker. The company told him to destroy the check, take a photo of it, then send it to them as proof that he did it.
Anouar said that later on, he received a package from the sweets maker. The packaged contained six bags of their candies, sent as a thank you. Anouar said, “I thought that was a bit cheap.” I mean he did just save the company millions of dollars and as a reward he was sent $20 worth of candy?
Haribo responded and said they were happy he called in the missing check, but no one would have been able to cash the check except them. We definitely think Anouar should have gotten much more than six bags of candy, but the candy company could have sent nothing.
