‘Power Rangers’ Stop Attacker At New Ramen Joint
If you’re from the 90’s then you will know who The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers are. The TV show was one of the most popular with kids and teens! Until this day, it still has a cult following and fans from all over the world will flock to appearances of the cast, both original and new.
This past weekend, the Power Rangers were in full force at a new restaurant in the Bay Area in California. Employees of the new Ramen restaurant were dressed up as the Power Rangers. Things were operating as normal when a man started to attack a woman and then started choking her! The Power Rangers/Employees immediately sprung into action. They separated the attacker from the woman and sat on him until the police arrived. The woman and the man weren’t even customers of Noka Ramen. According to witnesses, a woman was running from her attacker and ran into the restaurant. Then the man ran in after her to get her!
Customers didn’t know if this was real or not. Waiters and bartenders dressed as Power Rangers, woman in distress, attacker showing up, we could see why the customers thought it could be planned out to entertain them while they ate, but this was not a rehearsed thing. It was in fact real. When customers realized it, they all pulled out their phones to capture the incident and push it out on social media!
It’s said that The Black Ranger and Yellow Ranger told the man to leave, but he refused and started to punch and kick. That’s when the Yellow Ranger grabbed the attacker and dragged him outside the restaurant. Its also said that once the patrons of the restaurant figured out it was real, they also morphed into super heroes and helped out!
When Oakland PD showed up, it was determined the attacker was having a mental health crisis and was sent for medical treatment.
