R.E.M. has joined the likes of Taylor Swift, Shakira, Ed Sheeran, and more! Their video reached 1 Billion views on YouTube! "Losing My Religion" was released back in 1991 and has finally reached 1 billion views! What makes this even more special is they're 1 of about a dozen artists from that era to surpass a billion views on the site.

YouTube said they band was getting about an average of 300,000 views daily recently, which helped them tremendously in reaching this goal. The official video was only loaded to YouTube back in 2011. So it took 11 years to reach over 1 billion views.

Other groups from that era to make it past the billion views on YouTube, Guns N' Roses, Nirvana, Aqua, Whitney Houston, and the Cranberries!
