An Ohio man thought he lost his nose ring 5-years ago. He lost it at night. 5 years later, his doctor tells him “I’d won best case of the night!” Joey Lykins is his name. He’s 35 and a piecing addict. The doctor pulled out Joey’s x-ray to reveal a bull ring time object in his lung! It was a piecing for his septum, which is also known as a bull nose piercing. The piercing was about three to four years old before it just magically disappeared. He said he frantically searched for it. Flipping the bed over and checking couches. Then 5- years later, Joey started having coughing spells and it was starting to hurt his back. The doctors x-rayed him and found the problem in his left lung! He was relieved it wasn’t pneumonia, but it was definitely something worse.
Joey was referred to a specialist who performed a bronchoscopy and removed the piercing from his lung!
