Think of all the things that used to be FREE that aren't anymore and you'll create quite the list! The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought this up as a result of the Wall Street Journal giving you an idea of those simple things that are no long FREE!

The article actually goes into a lot of things that might affect ones vacation right here in Las Vegas starting with your flight and how much airlines charge for you to select your seat! It also includes a charge for sitting at the pool at your favorite hotel...we might refer to that as a "resort fee"!

Opening the phone and text lines, M&C wanted to hear from listeners to add to the list and people weren't shy. Starting off with AIR!!!! Air to fill up your tire at the corner gas station used to be FREE...well not anymore.

It's amazing how we took so many things for granted as not costing us a thing and all of a sudden we're paying for an extra cup at the convenience store, "...can I get some more ice? Uh, yeah, but that's gonna cost ya!" Someone even mentioned getting extra onions on their taco at a local fast food place when told there would be an extra charge for that! EXTRA ONIONS??? Are we in short supplies of onions?

Some listeners mentioned the bags at the grocery stores, depending on where you live...all this little simple things that used to be on the house, but now cost ya! Listen to the segment and see if anything comes to mind...

Clearly all these things add up and the "man" thought maybe this might be a way to make an extra buck for the company without passing it on to the local consumer. For whatever reason, those things we thought were FREE and no longer!
