Henry was diagnosed with Synesthesia, which is a neurological condition that basically combines all of his senses together, including senses not intended to be connected. Because of this, he can taste or smell, when he hears something, speaks, or even reading words! He even jokes and says that the name Boris Johnson tastes like "Squishing a hard-shelled beetle with his foot'" and "Harry Styles is like hair sticking up like telephone wires."
