Two Men Steal $36,000 Worth of Gum
Two men from Yorkshire owed a lot of money to some drug dealers and they needed to pay them back ASAP. We’ve all seen what happens in the movies if the money isn’t paid back, so these two men came up with a plan to get the money.
The two men stole the 7 pallets of Wrigley’s Chewing Gum. They came across the truck with the driver sleeping in the drivers seat, so the two decided to cut a section out of the truck to steal the gum. They were eventually caught by another delivery truck and the two ran off. They were eventually caught but they weren’t charged for stealing the gum, they were charged for possession of marijuana, refusal to take a breathalyzer test, and more!
One man was given an 8-month prison sentence for the theft and possession of marijuana. He also had to complete 140 hours of unpaid work.
