Two very prominent male actor names in the industry took pay cuts on their latest movie, so they would ensure the film would be released in theaters first, before hitting streaming. George Clooney & Brad Pitt both own their own production companies and will both be working on the film together. The film script and plot has been kept under wraps but it's being said it will be about two lone-wolf fixers who are given the same job.
Apple was the big buyer of the movie, coming in with the highest bid. That's when both Clooney & Pitt said they took less to guarantee a theatrical release, which Apple gladly agreed upon.
