Thanksgiving Turkey 101

So, if you’re like me, you’re not traveling this year for the holidays (thank you, Covid). Well, that means mom isn’t making the turkey. Yes, I’m old enough to have done it myself by now, but I’ve managed to get away with letting someone else do it, or substituting that easy pre-cooked ham, my whole life. Not this year! This is the year to pull up those elastic-waisted pants and get ‘er done.
Turkeys for Dummies! Is that a book? It should be…but here’s a beginner’s guide to turkeying (yes…I just made that a verb) for those of you who are rowing the same boat this year. Happy Thanksgiving! – Wendy
