Max Pacioretty Starts Goal Scoring Explosion Against San Jose
A minute and 11 seconds into the first period Max Pacioretty scored a HUGE goal that sparked the Vegas Golden Knights onslaught.
The Vegas Golden Knights overall talent couldn’t be any more apparent last night against San Jose. They shutout the game with a commanding 5-0 score.
Another shutout victory for Vegas’ veteran goalie Marc-André Fleury, winning game 4 in Las Vegas.
Now, San Jose is facing down the barrel of elimination. Vegas Golden Knights are leading the playoff series 3-1, just one more loss for San Jose means elimination.
Max Pacioretty once again showcasing the talent he brings for Vegas. Rallying two huge goals and two assists he understands what it’s like to be a Vegas Golden Knight.
Pacioretty assists Theodore for one of the filthiest goals yet in this playoff series against San Jose.
Ending the first period with a 2-0 lead.
At the start of the second period San Jose started their backup goal tender Aaron Dell instead of their usual starting goalie Martin Jones.
However, Dell couldn’t stop the all pucks awaiting him. Giving up 3 goals out-of-the barrage of shots he faced.
“When you look at the game, you can’t put all of this on the goalies,” San Jose coach Peter DeBoer said in a NHL.com interview. “You have to score too. We have to find a way to solve Fleury.”
San Jose now has to climb a huge mountain if they want to win this playoff series. A roaring home crowd at the shark tank awaits the Vegas Golden Knights.
Game 5 starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 in San Jose.
“You always want to win that next game,” Pacioretty said in a NHL.com interview. “You have to be prepared for whatever’s brought at you. They’re going to get a ton of energy from their crowd. They’re going to play their best game of the series, and we have to be ready for that.”
