This holiday marks a day of celebration and spending quality time with the people you love.
While Vegas is synonymous for partying, our local community breaks this stereotype by offering amazing Easter events that are great for every age group.
So what’s new for this year’s Easter celebrations?
Well, this weekend you can find a plethora of free activities, unique entertainment and even giveaways available in the valley.
From county-wide egg hunts to a running challenge and even a drag queen brunch, Vegas will have a diverse array of events this coming weekend.
However, since there are seemingly hundreds of things happening in our city, we curated a list of 13 must-see events happening this holiday weekend. We hope you enjoy!
1. Clark County’s Greatest Easter Egg Hunt
The nonprofit group SAFY of Nevada hid 60,000 Easter eggs across Clark County. However each egg represents one child that was impacted by foster care in our county since 2012, bringing awareness to the struggles and difficulties that man of our community members face. If you find one of the SAFY eggs, the nonprofit encourages you to post them on social media using #EggsForACause to help spread the word.

2. Easter Family Fun Day at Lorenzi Park
West Las Vegas Potter’s House will be hosting an Easter celebration at Lorenzi Park! Enjoy a free Easter egg hunt, pictures with the Easter bunny, egg painting, LIVE music, prizes and more. For more information about this event, call 702-250-9874.

3. Alien18 Brunch: Easter Sunday
18bin, a local downtown eatery will offer “some of the best brunch bites Vegas has to offer,” at this tasty event. From adult egg hunts to even hosting an Easter house-music show, this popular brunch spot is celebrating Easter in pure Vegas style. Secure your reservations now by emailing INFO@18BINLV.COM.

4. Easter Egg Hunt at Westminster Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas
Enjoy this day filled with activities and fun for the whole family. Everyone is welcomed at this community event! There’ll be Easter-story readings inside of the sanctuary, lunch, fun games, photos with the Easter Bunny and, of course, a special egg hunt!

5. The 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival
The fourth Annual Easter Egg And Carnival will be happening this week! It’ll be BIGGER and Better than ever before. Come on down to this event to enjoy 50,000 stuffed Easter eggs, a barbeque, raffles, carnival food and fun games!
The purpose of this event is to “provide families of all backgrounds specifically those undeserved youth, adults, and families with a nice holiday experience. FUN and an opportunity to receive services, resources and education they may not otherwise receive due to the financial hardships from disability and poverty,” according to the event’s Facebook page.

6. Free Easter Basket Giveaway
A few local charities and organizations have teamed up to provide the community with FREE Easter baskets. There will be no special holds for baskets and all children must be present to receive one.

7. Easter Drive Thru
Head on down to Chaparral High School for an Easter Drive Thru event, which will be filled with games, music and tons of candy! This drive thru event is first come, first serve.

8. Egg-Apalozza
This is a free community event for children ages 3-to-12 years old. This fun-filled day will take place at Paradise Recreation Center and will include activities like crafts, egg hunts and more.
When: Saturday, April 16 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

9. Hoppy Egg Run
A Hoppy Egg Run will take place at the Walnut Recreation Center. There will be different running times for each age group with the first “timed egg race” taking place at 9:30 a.m. There will also be food, games and inflatable rides. This event is free, too! 10. The LINQ Promenade
Locals and tourists will be able to enjoy this must-attend event! The LINQ Promenade will be having loads of activities and dining specials for this Sunday. The promenade’s retailers will also feature unique offerings ideal for Easter baskets and gifts!

11. Easter Sunday Brunch at Zeffer’s Café

12. Afternoon Easter Party at The Garden Las Vegas
If you’re feeling very saucy for this Easter Sunday then this Eater dance party is for you! Starting at 4 p.m., The Garden Las Vegas will host a special afternoon party with music by DJ Lexto. There’s no cover, and you can enjoy yourself in their beautiful courtyard right in the heart of downtown.
