The Nevada State Veterans Home proudly invites you to a special Veterans Day celebration, where we come together to honor our nation’s heroes’ courage, commitment, and sacrifices. Join us for a full day of commemorative ceremonies, an exciting parade, and a classic car show. With moving tributes, heartfelt speeches, and a ceremonial flyover, this event is a meaningful tribute to our veterans and a family-friendly celebration for all.

Morning Event
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
-9:00 AM – Opening Ceremony: Begin your day with a presentation of colors, the National Anthem, and inspiring speeches by Boulder City Mayor Joe Hardy, Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero, and NDHR Deputy Administrator Brian O’Callaghan.
-9:30 AM – Parade & Car Show: The morning parade will feature the Boulder City Police, Mounted Unit, Fire Department, and classic cars from the Boulder City Cruisin Association.
-10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Classic Car Show: Explore an array of vintage and specialty vehicles on display right after the parade.
-Refreshments: Breakfast from Pink Box Donuts and lunch by The Bullet Train will be provided exclusively for car show participants, volunteers, staff, media, and dignitaries.
Afternoon Ceremony
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
-2:00 PM – Afternoon Tribute: Governor Joe Lombardo will deliver special remarks, followed by a soulful performance of the National Anthem by Genevieve Dew. The day will conclude with a ceremonial flyover—a breathtaking salute to our veterans.
