Lenny Kravitz Las Vegas Residency Coming To Las Vegas

Lenny Kravitz has announced Blue Electric Light, a limited residency show in Las Vegas. He turns 60 years old on Sunday, May 26. What? HOW? On the 60, I mean.

We did find out recently, that Lenny Kravitz still works out pretty regularly - in leather pants, boots, and full rockstar gear. Again, HOW? I mean the leather pants. Did he not see the episode of Friends? Leather pants aren't good for anything - especially working out. Unless you're Lenny Kravitz, I guess.

Kravitz can wear whatever he wants for his workouts while he is here in Las Vegas. He'll do a limited number of shows at Dolby Live at the Park MGM in October. Great venue for him. The shows are happening on October 18-19, 23 and 25-26.

Lenny Kravitz Las Vegas Residency Tickets On Sale Same Day As New Album Release

The Blue Electric Light is the same name as his upcoming 12th studio album. That album will be released this Friday, May 25. A day before the superstar's birthday.

Tickets for Blue Electric Light go on sale Friday. May 25, at 1 p.m. ET, (10am PST). Pre-sales for Citi card members to begin Tuesday, May 21 at 1 p.m. Fan club pre-sales start Wednesday at 1 p.m., while pre-sales for MGM Rewards, SiriusXM subscribers and Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers will follow Thursday at 1 p.m.

The shows mark Kravitz' first extended gig in Las Vegas. I've seen him once, and I can honestly say that he kicks some major rock a**! He has a style all his own, and always has.

And if you're also into Lenny Kravitz. the actor. You might want to check out Hunger Games, The Butler, and Precious.

Lenny Kravitz' Las Vegas Residency begins in October. It ain't over till it's over!

Roger Daltrey and 5 Other Iconic Screams of Classic Rock

Legendary Who frontman Roger Daltrey turns 78 today (March 1), and if we could pick just one thing that makes him so incredible it’s his iconic scream.

Daltrey is undoubtedly one of the best, and he certainly set the standard for screams for decades to come. In honor of his birthday, we look back at some of our other favorite “screams” in classic rock.

The Who – “Won’t Get Fooled Again”

Sure, it's difficult not to think of CSI: Miami when thinking about this particular Daltrey scream, but it's still amazing.

Led Zeppelin – “Whole Lotta Love”

There are so many different scream/wail pockets in "Whole Lotta Love," it's difficult to pick which one was Robert Plant's best.

Aerosmith – “Dream On”

Alright, who hasn't harmonized with Steven Tyler on the climax of "Dream On"? If you say you haven't, clearly you're a liar.

Janis Joplin – “Cry Baby”

Similar to Plant on "Whole Lotta Love," there are so many incredible screams and wails from Joplin on "Cry Baby," it's hard to pick just one.

The Doors – “Back Door Man”

Easily the most primal scream on this list, Jim Morrison on The Doors' "Back Door Man" never fails to send chills up your spine and make your brain all tingly.

The Beatles – “Revolution”

Just in case that opening riff didn't grab your attention enough, John Lennon's scream in the intro was there to grab you metaphorically by the collar.

The Who at Madison Square Garden - 9/1/2019
