Netflix’s ‘The Roast Of Tom Brady’ Will Have You Laughing For Hours
Netflix went live for one of the best celebrity roasts ever, “The Roast Of Tom Brady.” If you didn’t laugh, one might question if you have a sense of humor.
No One Was Safe At The Roast Of Tom Brady
If you’re not sure how a roast works, well here you go. Basically, you take one person of focus, and everyone in attendance has an opportunity to make fun of that one person. Comedian Jeff Ross is usually the “Roast Master General” for these celebrity roasts. So, it was only fitting to have him in attendance as well. The hilarious roast of the G.O.A.T. was hosted by comedian and actor Kevin Heart, who also didn’t hold back when it came to the jokes of all in attendance and of course Tom Brady.

Along side Tom Brady was all of his former New England Patriots teammates. Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, Randy Moss, and more were there. Vegas local Dana White was in attendances with MMA fighter and BMF Champion Max Holloway. Thousands of people and celebs flooded the KIA Forum in Inglewood, California to witness comedians, teammates, and actors take shots at the retired quarterback.
There’s no holding back. Anything goes. And while those are the rules, sometimes people may take it a little too far. And while many will laugh, including the targeted person, others may not accept it. But in the end, it’s all about laughing and having a great time.
You Can’t Say That
According to USA Today, while the jokes were flying all over the place at the roast of Tom Brady, some may have not liked what was being said. Kim Kardashian got a not-so-great welcome, but did get a ton of laughs from her jokes. Some celebs made jokes about people who weren’t even there, or so they thought.
Jokes are all over the place. If you take offense to constant bad language, crude jokes, and more, you may wanna skip this. The roast is three hours of non-stop crude jokes and humor. But that’s what a roast is. Sometimes a joke is said and even the person the roast is about may not like it. That was definitely the case last night.
The Roast Master General, Jeff Ross, opened the night and didn’t waste anytime making jokes not only about Tom Brady, but O.J. Simpson, and Patriots owner, Robert Kraft, who was in attendance. And after a cheap shot by Ross about Robert Kraft, Brady stood up to tell Ross to “Never ****ing mention that again.” It wasn’t even 10 minutes into the roast and a line was drawn. Did that set the tone for the rest of the night? Absolutely not! Like I mentioned, no one was safe. But if there was one person who was consistently made fun of, aside from Tom Brady, it was Patriots QB Drew Bledsoe. And he was a good sport about all of it.
Whether you love Tom Brady or hate him, this is a must-watch on Netflix. You will find yourself laughing for majority of it and cringing at the other parts. But, to see so many people come together to laugh and have a great time is what it’s all about. And personally, the world needs more of this.
“The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” is only found on Netflix. This is the first of many live events Netflix will host on their streaming service. Netflix’s next big event will be the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. The live event will take place on July 20.
