You've seen and heard the new Burger King commercials. In fact, the song is so simple and catchy, it probably gets stuck in your head. "B.K. Have it your way, YOU RULE!" Yeah, that one!

You probably sang it while you read that. Well guess what, Burger King is taking that to the next level.

Welcome To Burger King, Can I Take Your Oder?

The next time you visit a Burger King and decide to dine in, your interaction between the restaurant employee and yourself will be totally different. After you make your order and pay, you won't just get a "We'll call you when your order is ready" response, you'll get "You Rule!" Then, you'll be offered a Burger King crown to wear. This isn't just a thing that will randomly happen. It's a new rule that corporate has mandated, according to Business Insider.

According to People, this is to help boost scores for their franchises. They're giving expansion opportunities to the locations with the highest-scorers. So no matter your age, you'll get a "You Rule," then be offered a crown. I feel the teens will be a little questionable about the crown. But, you know us adults will be all about it. I'm 40 and will always gladly accept a Burger King crown. It will bring back memories of me as a child eating a cheeseburger and fries, while wearing my gold crown.

When Does This Take Effect?

People talked with a spokesperson for the fast-food chain and has said this rule went into effect back in October of 2022. Now, I've been to Burger King a lot since October of 2022 and have yet to have this happen to me. But they're actively trying to force this upon all employees now. In fact the company executives are sending people out to locations to monitor the restaurants, making sure they follow the directive, People reports.

These Are The Best Popcorn Places In Las Vegas

Popcorn has been a favorite snack of Americans for centuries. Whether we eat it plain, roll it into caramel-coated balls, or use it to decorate our Christmas trees, popcorn is a household staple. And when it comes to flavorful spins on traditional popcorn, Las Vegas has a lot of places to satisfy the old taste buds.

I've always been one to make popcorn on the stove versus throwing a prepackaged bag in the microwave. There's just something about stove-popped corn that makes me happy. Just throw some vegetable oil in a pan, pop those kernels up, and flavor how ever you want. I'm partial to butter, parmesan and cracked pepper. My daughter prefers butter, cinnamon and sugar on hers. Being able to individualize the flavor is the best part of making popcorn at home.

But maybe you're somewhere between wanting more flavor than microwave popcorn, and not wanting to put in the work of making your own on the stove. That's okay. In the last several years, popcorn shops have been...excuse the pun...popping up all over the place. So it's not hard to find the tasty treat to go.

So where do you find great popcorn in Las Vegas?

Well, before we get to that, here's an interesting fact. Did you know that Ella Kellogg used to eat popcorn for breakfast? Yep. The sister-in-law of the founder of Kellogg's cereal ate popcorn covered in milk as her first meal of the day, according to popcorn.org. I thought that was weird at first. But Kellogg's makes Corn Pops, which I love. So there you go.

Most movie nights at home will have me still making popcorn on the stove. But when I am out and about, I will stop and get a bag of flavored popcorn as a special treat for the family. And here are the places I've found around the Las Vegas Valley that have the best popcorn to go. -  Wendy Rush, 96.3 KKLZ

Popcorn Girl - 3 Locations

Popcorn Girl has three locations in the Vegas valley. One on West Charleston, one on North Decatur Blvd and one in Henderson (though that one only does delivery now). This is where I go for a unique dessert popcorn. They have flavors like Cinnabun, Banana Pudding and Lemon Meringue Pie!

Popped - Eastern & Richmar

Popped is located on Eastern Avenue and Richmar. Just south of Serene and north of Silverado Ranch Blvd. They're family owned and I love that they do gift baskets. Perfect for a popcorn-lover's birthday. And so many flavors. From the Boujee ones, like Bling Bling Cookies & Cream and the Pink'adelic. To the more basic ones, like Classic Cheddar or Salt & Vinegar.

Las Vegas Kettle Corn & Special Events - Water Street

If you're wandering around Water Street in Henderson, check out Las Vegas Kettle Corn & Special Events. They have lots of popcorn flavors to choose from. Including Savory Barbeque and Sour Cream and Chives. And don't forget to pick up a bag of kettle corn. It's what they're famous for.

Pop Drinks - Maryland Parkway & Pebble

Pop Drinks is my go-to for a couple reasons. First of all, you can get a huge bag of buttered popcorn for $10. Secondly, there's a drive-thru so you don't even have to get out of the car. And you can order ahead of time to make it super quick. They don't all the popcorn flavors they other popcorn shops. But you can splurge on their amazing cookies and specialty sodas.  They're on Maryland Parkway south of Windmill.

Goody's Original Popcorn - Cheyenne & MLK

Goody's is big on giving back to the community. So you can get some gourmet popcorn and know you're helping them fundraise for a local organization. And they have interesting flavors, like Sour Nerds or Jalapeno, or Puppy Chow.
