For Animal People, Pet Panic Is A Real Thing
If you have pets you probably already know this…for animal people, going into a “pet panic” is a real thing! It’s something that came up on The Mike & Carla Morning Show this morning and it really hit home. Of course, Morty, the Executive Producer of The M&C Morning Show, is the only one that has a pet and he would agree!
According to an article put out on SWNS, the average pet owner worries about their pet at least 3 times per day! Even more so, a typical pet owner at least 6 times a month! Now, we’re talking dogs, cats, fish and more…pet panic is real, so if you do the math, that’s a lot of panic attacks! And what are these people so worried about when it comes to Fido or Whiskers?
Animal People And Why They Experience “Pet Panic”
According to the article, it lists things like falling off the couch, a chair, or just throwing up! And that’s when we are at home…some of the worries when we’re not? Them getting into the trash or something they shouldn’t be getting into. Is my pet sad, are they lonely, or did they get out of the house somehow?
All these things add up for owners and will throw them into a panic! And for those that own, this is something they take very seriously. Again, despite the fact that Mike O’Brian and Carla Rea don’t have pets, believe it or not, it’s something they can understand. However, it’s clear during the conversation that Morty is a “dog” person and not a fan of cats.
With this said, some cat owners took exception to his cat “shaming” and weren’t shy about it. In fact one woman called in bragging on how her cat raised her dog. Even protects the pooch and will to it’s death. It was quite the conversation throughout the morning. You have to hear it to believe it and you can below!
