The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is welcoming a Las Vegas tradition back, for its 23rd year of celebration.

Glittering Lights Comes Back To The Las Vegas Speedway

Glittering Lights, the now famous drive-thru holiday display, comes back to the speedway Nov. 9 through Jan. 7.

The 2.5-mile course features more than five million LED lights. That means a lot of twinkle. The Las Vegas Sphere only has 1.2 million LED lights. Ok, different. But still - a lot of lights!

A new addition that Live Nation added to the 2023 Glittering Lights is a 60-piece animated Rockin’ North Pole light fixture. Authentic Public Relations press release says it will be the largest on display.

The Santa Tram will also be coming back, with some festive holiday upgrades. The tram lets the whole family just sit back, relax, and take it all in.

Some Special Dates To See The Sparkle

In addition to the sparkle and twinkle, and all the amazing decorations, guests can also enjoy swag bags, and some special nights:

November 10: Veterans Day. Veterans and their families will be admitted with free entry on November 10 with VIC ID (Veteran Identification Card) or DAV ID card (Disabled American Veterans ID).

November 13: World Kindness Day. The first 200 paid vehicles entering the experience on November 13 will receive a free ticket for future use in honor of the day of kindness. The ticket has no restrictions, but guests are encouraged to pay it forward, and share the love, by showing a little kindness.

November 13: It's also Military Monday at Glittering Lights. Free entry for all active and inactive military, and their families, with valid ID. Veterans and active-duty military must present the ID at the entrance to receive free admission for their whole carload.

December 31: Happy New Year! Ring in 2024 on East Coast time. There will be a New Year’s Eve Countdown at 9pm followed by fireworks to go along with the beauty of Glittering Lights.

A Glittering Lights Early Bird Special

Glittering Lights will be open from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and holidays. There is also a new Early Bird Special, that will give a $10 discount if you're in line before 6 p.m!
