We've all been to wine country in California, but now South Carolina is trying to get on the map with their "Mayonnaise Tasting Tour!" Heck, even Kentucky has a "Bourbon Trail", but not to be out done, South Carolina is stepping up! They are inviting fans of mayo to take their 20 stop tour to sample mayonnaise in different ways.

According to visitGreenville.com, this is all sponsored by Duke's Mayonnaise and they are serious. The tour even includes 4 historical spots in the state. If you're not familiar with Duke's, it a brand that's huge in the south and southeast part of the country. Created over 100 years ago, the folks at Duke's are hoping mayo fans will take them up on the trail to experience mayo all different ways.

Hop on the Mayonnaise Tasting Tour!

Got to be honest, I'm not really a "mayo" fan, but I also didn't realize there were that many ways to use the stuff! If you're going to be in that part of the country anytime soon, you should know a couple of things. This is a self-guided tour, so you can do it at your own pace. It's not like you're on a bus with a bunch of mayo fanatics just trippin' around all afternoon sampling mayo.

We also found out that the trail is open ended, so you don't have to do it all in one day...and who would want to? It's a beautiful part of the country and if your really need something to do, it might be fun. But let's be honest, how many ways can you use the spread?

Well, if you're wondering, this is what you find out on the trail. We should mention they also have a few "snack" stops should you feel the munchies coming on. If you need more info, click on the link above to get all you need to know about it and enjoy!
