Las Vegas Sphere Introduces AI Greeter Aura
The MSG Sphere is now, without a doubt, one of the most fascinating new structures in Las Vegas.
The Newest Employee At The Sphere Is Aura:
Now the Sphere is taking things to a whole new level, with Robot Greeters. Very different from Walmart, where people actually say hello, and hand you a shopping cart.
The Sphere made the announcement on X/Twitter this week, that “humanoid robots” will be greeting those who enter building. Or ball.
Aura introduced herself in the post, and said to “forget chatbots, and come chat with some real bots.” It’s very strange, and very fascinating at the same time.
The Sphere website touts Aura as a ‘real-life humanoid robot, who will take you on a tour into the future of technology.’ Artificial intelligence at the big ball.
Aura Will Be Part Of A Featured Documentary:
Aura was developed as part of a sci-fi story, and nature documentary that will be featured at The Sphere, called, “Postcard From Earth.”
Darren Aronofsky is the director of the documentary. Why does that name sound familiar? He directed The Whale among many other great movies, starring Brendan Fraser. Fraser won Best Actor for his role in the movie.
Robots Are Here To Stay In Las Vegas:
Living in Las Vegas, and knowing the city of lights, entertainment, and innovation, I suspect this won’t be the last of robots. Artificial intelligence is in Las Vegas to stay.
Robot taxis are already on the agenda in the not too distant future. Restaurants have robot servers, which I met recently at California Pizza Kitchen. And robot bartenders – that can actually recognize your face if you’re a regular – are also on the way.
Aura will be the newest addition to the Las Vegas family of robots. You actually met her earlier in the year, when she was seen in a Sphere commercial that aired during the Academy Awards.
One thing is certain – The MSG Sphere is definitely going to be out of this world!
