New Durango Resort Hiring Las Vegas Residents For All Positions
The newest luxury resort in Las Vegas is finally hiring.
The Durango Casino & Resort is scheduled to open its door in just three months. The final touches are being put on the construction. And Station Casinos has announced they’re finally hiring for the new location.
The announcement came in conjunction with a new hiring website that is available in both English and Spanish. Station Casinos also released a quirky commercial about the hiring. Which might give potential employees some idea of the kind of vibe they could be working in.
Station Casino offers lots of benefits.
The man in the video calls the environment “friendly” and says it comes with all kinds of benefits. Including free health care for employees and their family members who make less than $100K per year. Employment also comes with paid company retirement, and medical and dental centers for employees (Station Casinos).
Station Casinos was, for the third year in a row, named a top casino employer by Nevada’s Top Workplaces. Before their doors open, they are looking to hire 1,200 Nevada residents for all positions in various departments. Including table games dealers, slot attendants, and housekeeping positions. Food and beverage positions for both front and back of house will also be hired, as well as security.
How to apply.
Station Casinos will not be hiring for any of the 15 restaurants that will be open inside the resort. Those positions will be hired for at a later date by each individual restaurant. Hiring for Durango Casino will not be done via any in-person job fairs. Those who want to apply for a job should do so on the company’s website. Applications can be submitted in English at getajobatdurango.com or in Spanish at trabajaendurango.com.
Durango Casino & Resort will offer free parking, resort pool with cabanas, convention and meetings spaces. It is scheduled to open November 20, 2023.
