Chug baby, Chug!

Nothing like teaching your kids to drink early on - The "Baby Chug Challenge" is trending on social media. It's just as simple as it sounds, and minutes of fun!

It involves a baby or toddler chugging from a bottle of milk while mom and dad bang on a table or chairs and yell, "CHUG, CHUG, CHUG! Some videos show chugging babies banging along with their parents, and others choking and spitting up. But for a baby or toddler, that's just all in a days work.

Makes me wonder how long we have to wait for toddler skydiving, or bungee jumping? "Come on, don't be afraid! Mommy and daddy are right down here!"

When You Just Want Internet:

Nothing worse than being without your internet. Well this man wasn't having it!

And if you think helping old people with their internet problems is frustrating, just try doing it at at gun point.

When Yo Don't Get Your Internet:

62-year-old Clyde Smay of Pennsylvania was arrested earlier this month after he pulled a gun on an internet repairman.  He was angry that the guy was leaving without finishing the job.  Fortunately, no one was hurt.

It's unclear what exactly went down, but reports say that the repair guy was about to leave without finishing the job, when Clyde freaked out,  pulled out a gun, and started threatening the guy. Fortunately, it doesn't sound like anyone was hurt.

Clyde was a convicted felon, and wasn't allowed to have a gun.  So he was charged for that, along with making terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple assault, and harassment.

It's unclear if he ever got his internet working.  But if so, he might want to Google "hat kind of hard time am I  looking at?"

You can read more about this, and other awards winning goofiness, in Mike & Carla's Other News.

The Furby Is Coming Back And Better Than Ever

It's been over 25 years, but the FURBY is coming back! Celebrating it's 25th Anniversary, get ready for the second wave of "Furby-mania"! This is the little fury, big ear, talking animal will be on sale for the first time since 2016.

At the time, it was the one toy in high demand to the point you couldn't even find it. The newest version will have 5 voice activated modes. It will also featured over 600 response. But a lot of us remember those "bad" Furby's that dropped a few cuss words, which shocked (shocked) parents and even the kids!

According to an article in PEOPLE magazine, it's now available on Amazon! The new Furby's comes in new colors for a new generation of kids that might not remember the original! The cost of the new version will be about $75.

The Furby Is Back...You Might Want To Get One NOW!

You can order it on line through Amazon, but won't hit shelves in stores until next month. To put into persepective how huge this toy was 25 years ago, they sold over 40 million of these things!

As The Mike & Carla Morning Show talked about the new Furby, we also wanted to know about those other "it" toys. Those toys your kids just had to have. And as much as parents looked for them, Mom and Dad could never find them quick enough!

Mike O'Brian mentioned the "Mighty Moe", a toy cannon that shot a plastic ball out of the barrel. Carla Rea talked about her "Chrissy" doll, where the hair would grow. Of course, she cut it for good...enough of that! Oh, Carla also mentioned her "Pet Rock"!

Listeners texted in and a few on the phone mentioned "Stretch Armstrong". A huge toy back 1976 when it was first introduced. Others talked about their "Cabbage Patch Dolls". If you were lucky to find one, you were like the best Mom or Dad EVER!

Besides the Furby, what other toys were considered the "it" toy through the years? After listening to the segment from this morning, scroll down and check out the Top 5.
