A Bulldog owner wanted to track his dogs steps during the day, so what did he do? He took what we humans use to track our steps, and put it on his Bulldog! Yep! We’re talking about strapping an Apple Watch to his dog!
He was hoping to see some big results at the end of the day, but he was shocked at what he found!
Matty Fahd has wanted to boost his onw daily steps, but wanted to entertain himself, so he put his Apple Watch on his Bulldog, Bane! He left it on for about seven hours. To his shock, Bane only walked eighty-two steps!
He even took Bane out for walks to get the steps up, but it still wasn’t as high as he expected. Fahd said in an interview with Newsweek that, “Bulldogs aren’t known for their stamina, so truthfully I wasn’t expecting much.”
Guess what I’m doing with my Bulldog, Squish this weekend?
We have more on this story and other weird and wacky stories in today’s Other News!
A doggy day care bus! Could there be anything cuter, and more needed? Especially in a place like Skagway, Alaska.
A family dog-walking team in Alaska has become quite the internet sensation after they posted a video of their doggy day care bus. The husband-and-wife team, called Mo Mountains Mutts, said they never set out to start a business, but it just “grew organically over time.”
“I’ve always wanted a bus for my clients. I started out on my bike, then I had a minivan, then I had a large van. One day in the middle of my route my tire fell off my big van,” Mo Thompson shared. “I put out a message on my local community page looking for a large van or a short bus. I scored a bus that had been sitting because of COVID.”
The couple, who also have an 8-month-old boy named Vern, post these videos on their social media platforms showcasing their daily routines and operations based in Skagway, Alaska. (You MUST watch the video- ADORABLE!!)
“My husband and I are a really good team so we can balance work and our baby together. This wouldn’t be possible if my husband had not joined,” Thompson continued. In a video, which has already had more than 50 million views on TikTok, the furry friends are shown getting on their bus and finding their seats – just like you would!
“Good morning Jake,” Thompson says in the video before Jake finds a seat and is “buckled in” with a dog leash. “I hope it makes people smile,” Thompson said. “I also hope that it motivates people to exercise and train their dogs.”
And I can only hope that they start franchising this doggy day care bus, and make their way to Las Vegas!
