'Bored' 5 Year-OId Prodigy Nails It Playing Mozart

Since we don't play a lot of classical music here...but we have to admit we were blown away by this five-year-old Italian prodigy rolling through Mozart like, well, Mozart. The Mike & Carla Morning Show shared some of the audio from this amazing kid jammin' on the keys and nailing Mozart while actually looking a little bored by the whole thing!

The latest on this amazing kid, from an article published by My Modern Met, 5 year old Alberto Cartuccia Cingolani was introduced to the piano when he was only 3. He comes from a musical family with his father being a teacher and his mother teaching singing. They introduced Alberto to the piano by giving him lessons for ten minutes at a time and gradually increasing the time of the lessons as he got better and better.

This all started during the lockdown a couple of years ago and instead of Alberto just sitting around and doing nothing, his parents thought it much better to put him on the piano to keep him occupied! Well guess what? He was a natural! Despite the fact that the 5 year old prodigy couldn't read music when he first started, he did have perfect pitch and could recreate any musical note given to him.

Now, even at the age of 5, Alberto is still not keen on reading music as much as he should, but that hasn't stopped him from being totally amazing as he is on the piano! He's parents say that a lot of what Alberto does on piano is instinctive! The kid is purely amazing...

The M&C Morning Show were totally amazed by this kid thinking of what each of them were doing when they were 5...no comparison of course! However, Carla Rea did mention that she was working on her "dance" career at that age and nothing was going to stop her from reaching that dream! Bless her heart!
