If so, then The Mike & Carla Morning Show might have the job for you, so listen up! There's a new job opening for a pumpkin spice TASTE-TESTER. A website called Finance Buzz will pay someone $1,000 to try ALL of the pumpkin-flavored products Trader Joe's is stocking this fall. You also have to rate each one. The actual job title is "Pumpkin Spice Pundit".
Now keep in mind that you'll have to try dozens of products . . . everything from pumpkin waffles to their pumpkin-stuffed ravioli and samosas. And you'll only have about two weeks to do it. Okay, so you need to be 18 or older to apply, and you have to live close enough to a Trader Joe's to shop in person. On top of the $1,000, you'll get a $500 gift card to buy everything.
C'mon, think of all the perks this job comes with...and it's Trader Joe's! You have time to get it all together and you know there are quite a few stores here in Las Vegas that you'd love to work at!
If you're actually thinking about applying and you get the job, you'll have from September 2nd to the 18th to try it all and review each item. If you're interested, you've got until Sunday to apply for the position at FinanceBuzz.com.
So if you love everything that's pumpkin, this is perfect for you...so why not just go for it? You can also hear about things that bother Gen Z'ers about other Gen Z'ers, Krispy Kreme is celebrating "Dogg Day" with a line of Doggie Donuts...not sure if there for us or your dogs, and much more! It's all right here in this edition of M&C's "A Few Things We Thing You Should Know"
Where To Buy Halloween Décor In Las Vegas
Halloween is slowly creeping up on us and if you're a shopper or lover of the spooktacular holiday now is the time to start shopping.
October 31 is exactly 69 days away which may seem like a long time but it really isn't. We all know those people who wait until the month of the holiday to start getting into the swing of things but who's to say you can't start sooner? And most Las Vegans know that if you don't get something when you see it it, you most likely won't see it ever again.
Ditch those last minute procrastinator habits and start your hunt for scary, creepy and fun décor. Yes your normal giant grocery store chains will have the "Hey Boo" signs and the cute pumpkin candles you already stocked up on last year. But what about some of those other stores you wouldn't normally check out for all things scary? It's time to jump out of your comfort zone and into the Twilight Zone.
Glow-in-the-dark chain ropes, skull candy bowls, stripped painted ceramic pumpkins, assorted colored flowers and more can be found at the stores below to get the idea cauldron going. Each of these stores carries a limited amount of supplies so stay up-to-date on their websites and social media platforms on launches and restocks. If you're into creating your own decorations then you're in for a treat as many of these places carry decorations that can be reused and repurposed.
If your local church or group gathering are hosting a trunk-or-treat some of the places listed carry light up string lights, plastic table runners for the inside of your trunk and other spine-chilling additions to make your car the most eye-catching.
