That got me thinking about my "go-to" desserts.  I have to be honest, I pretty much love all desserts, although I'm not a big plain chocolate or white chocolate fudge fan.  Cake, cookies, ice cream, pies, donuts...all delicious.  Whether home-made or store bought, you really can't go wrong.  However, when I really want to treat myself, here are some of the Las Vegas favorites I like to visit.

I really enjoy the variety at Pinkbox Doughnuts.  Love the glazed and raised monster named "Da Apple Fritter."  I can always go with a bavarian cream-filled treat like "The Blow Torch."  What's your favorite donut shop?  What is your favorite donut?

For frozen goodies I like to visit Cold Stone Creamery.  One of their signature creations, "Mud Pie Mojo," has everything I like: coffee ice cream, peanut butter, cookies, almonds and melted fudge.  Do you have a favorite frozen treat shop?  What are your favorite flavors?

For pies, you can't go wrong with Marie Callendar's, fresh from one of their restaurants, or in the frozen foods aisle at the grocery store.  I love their pecan pie the most, with the coconut cream pie as a close second.  What's your favorite pie?

There are lots of great cake bakeries in the Las Vegas valley, and Nothing Bundt Cakes has to be my fave.  Moist and delicious every time.  Perfect for special occasions too.  Do you have a favorite cake bakery?

I could go on and on, but my pants will never fit again.  Fun to daydream about for a few minutes though!
