Mary Wilson was the longest-reigning original Supreme. Mary passed away Monday night at her home here in Las Vegas. Along with Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, the three made up the first successful configuration of The Supremes. May was a part of the group until 1977 when the group broke up. Lots of thoughts and messages have poured in about Mary, including Motown founder, Berry Gordon who said he's extremely shocked and saddened to hear of her death. He said The Supremes were "Always known as the sweethearts of Motown."
