What is your favorite Christmas smell? It's a simple question...and it just happens to be that time of the year when the holidays are in high gear. With that said,  The Mike & Carla Morning Show brought this up this morning and ran down the list of what some people think is the best smell during the winter holidays

An early Christmas poll asked people to rank their favorite holiday SMELLS.  Of course right off the top of your head you start thinking how many Christmas smells are there? Believe it or not, enough to put together a list recently published in an article by Cision. One that popped out, but didn't make the Top 5, was the smell of a crackling fireplace. Inside or out, you start burning wood for atmosphere or just to stay warm, the smell of a fire in the fireplace sets the tone for the entire holiday!

Also on the list of great Christmas smells, chestnuts! It's been a while since anyone on The M&C Morning Show roasted chestnuts over an open fire, but the smell was good enough to make the Top 10! Come to think about it, have you ever roasted chestnuts over an open fire? Or just hearing the song by Nat King Cole is good enough?

Peppermint also made the list, but as you scroll down, you might not be surprised by the #1 Christmas smell...however, it has nothing to do with food or something you might sip out of a cup...but tis the season for great smells!

Just one of topics that came up this morning during the "A Few Things We Think You Should Know" segment on The M&C Morning Show...details on this story and a few others just a click away below. But then scroll down to see the Top 5 Christmas Smells...and enjoy!
