Stevie Nicks has recently announced that she is coming to Las Vegas for a solo concert tour. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee already has planned a coheadlining tour with Billy Joel. The two tours will run simultaneously in 2023. Her solo tour will run 14 dates from March through June and will land in Vegas on March 18. The concert, held at T-Mobile Arena, is the second stop on Nicks‘ solo run and third overall.
Nicks posted the tour dates on her Instagram page.
So, will you be going to see Nicks when she heads out on tour in March? The reviews of her latest shows might inspire you to. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said this of her show last year, “Nicks looked good, sounded great and provided the audience a top-notch performance of over 100 minutes with her signature blend of grace, majesty and a smidgen of grittiness.”
Nicks has performed a variety of songs at her shows. Including solo hits, songs she wrote for Fleetwood Mac, and some covers. And in between songs, Nicks is charming and entertaining as she tells the story behind what she’s singing. Her setlist from October of last year also included a cover and tribute to Tom Petty, who died back in 2017. Over all, Nicks‘ show has been a combination of heartwarming and humorous.
Even if you have seen Fleetwood Mac in concert, this will be a different show. Nicks has the space on her solo tour to talk and sing about things important specifically to her. Plus, this is her first tour since good friend and bandmate, Christine McVie, died. So you can most likely look forward to stories and tributes to her.
Tickets for the show go on sale January 27, 2023 but you can win them this week! Details on when below.
